I look at them while they fight to about matters so trivial as to be only a pretext looking into eyes like lovers on a first date.
smiling as if we were at a party and they had just met and liked.
As if they were not separated by more than two years.
I watch them reach out I do not know what unconsciously toward each other almost to touch each and dispense advice in their position I do not know what I would be able to put in place.
hiding behind my desk, I watch them say what the body does not have the courage to admit out loud.
